Mark vs oracle vs mid price+
The mark price is what Hyperliquid uses for margin and liquidations. The oracle price comes from external reference prices. The mid is halfway between the best bid and best ask in the order book. They are close but not the same.
What does funding mean here?+
Funding is paid every hour between longs and shorts to keep the perp near its oracle. Positive funding means longs pay shorts; negative means shorts pay longs.
What is open interest?+
Open interest is the total size of positions still open. Rising open interest means new money entering; falling means positions closing. HyperHunt shows it in contracts and as an estimated USD value.
